Review of Remembrance

Title: Remembrance
Author: Michelle Madow

Blurb:
Lizzie Davenport has been reincarnated from the Regency Era...but she doesn't know it yet.

Then Drew Carmichael transfers into Lizzie's high school at the beginning of the year, and she feels a connection to him, almost like she knows him. She can't stop thinking about him, but whenever she tries talking to him about the mysteries behind her feelings , he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Reaching him is even more difficult as she has a boyfriend, Jeremy, who has started to become full of himself after being elected co-captain of the varsity soccer team, and her flirtatious best friend Chelsea starts dating Drew soon after his arrival. So why can't she get him out of her mind?

Even though Lizzie knows that she should let go of her fascination with Drew, fighting fate isn't going to be easy...

My Review:
I was sent a PDF copy of this book for review and I LOVED this book. The story is inspired by Taylor Swift's 'Love Story', and the whole story is really similar to the video.

When Lizzie meets Drew he takes her breath away and Lizzie knows that she knows Drew but can't place where from. Lizzie knows that she's head over heels in love but she's already in a relationship with Jeremy. Then Chelsea falls in love and she thinks that her and Drew can never be. But with flashbacks of Drew in her mind, is all hope lost between them?

Lizzie was a great character and I loved how she was so thoughtful and real, creative and sweet.
Jeremy at times was an idiot but at certain times I did feel quite sorry for him. He always seemed to take Lizzie for granted and I was happy that Lizzie left him.
Chelsea always seemed to have Drew on her mind and never had time for Lizzie. Even though Lizzie was struggling Chelsea always seemed very absorbed in her own world and never had time for others.
Drew was a mystery man, you could never tell how he was feeling, one minute he's warm and welcoming and the next he's cold and shutting Lizzie out of his life.

This book has it all, the ultimate lover's story, great story-line and characters you can connect with. You could get a really good image of Lizzie's mask and dress and how beautiful everything was.

I could feel every emotion that the characters felt and I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I can not fault it!
