Review of Ginger Snaps

Title: Ginger Snaps
Author: Cathy Cassidy

Blurb:
Gone are the days when Ginger was an outsider, always on the fringes of friendship. She's swapped puppy fat and pigtails for makeup and hair straighteners and never looked back - until now.

Ginger and Shannon are best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily, everything changes. Even the saxophone playing boy in the trilby hat can't help - he's part of the problem...

Are Ginger and Shannon drifting apart or can they stay best friends forever?

My Review:
I read this book a while ago and kept meaning to post a review. Well, after many months it's finally going up!

This is my favourite of Cathy's books. Sam was very charming and I really liked him. The story follows Ginger, who has never really been accepted in primary school, however, when she comes to secondary she is befriended and becomes friends with Shannon.

They then spy new boy Sam who i think Shannon liked to start off with. He then rejects her so she starts telling Ginger that he's weird, but Ginger can't fight her feelings.

After many events in the book (which I won't go into detail about) Ginger discovers who her real friends are an who she wants to be.

I REALLY enjoyed this book and think that you should read it!!
