Blurb:

Jodie is cursed with a terrible gift. She just doesn't know it yet. When she stumbles across one of her dead father's old papers on sound waves in the attic, it sets her on a terrifying journey to find out more, leading her across the streets of London to the dark, untrodden tunnels of the Underground, where she is forced to face the truth. Her worst nightmare is about to become real. Worse, she can hear it coming.

My Review:

Wow! Killing Sound is a truly terrifying read that had me hooked from the very first page!

Within the first few chapters, Jodie's parents are dead. Her father had come home hoping to prove that his experiment does work. However, hours later all that's left is blood, remains and Jodie. A traumatized child. It is believed that she is the only person who witnessed what happened that night, but she's clammed up and won't tell anybody what she saw. She's completely blocked it from her memory.

However, whilst living with her aunt, a sound draws her to the attic. It is there that she discovers some papers that once belonged to her father, these papers include research on sound waves. Jodie finds out that her father was researching infrasound and the spirit world. This discovery leads Jodie on a frightening journey deep into the depths of the London Underground...

Killing Sound is a gripping, haunting novel told incredibly well! It is certainly not one for the faint hearted but nonetheless it is a fantastic novel with a stunning plot! It will leave you on the edge of your seat the whole way through! I would highly recommend!
