My Review:

The story follows Jo who isn't very lucky in love and is sick of being the single friend (all her others are in relationships). However, things change after her friends drag her along to a clairvoyant. Whilst there, Jo is told that her true life is someone from a past life and that she needs to find her soulmate in order to experience true happiness.

Jo doesn't believe any of this but her friends don't let it drop, until a series of events begin to slowly change her mind.

The plot wasn't exactly complicated or challenging and I did find that it was relatively easy to predict the ending. However, I did really enjoy the story and I liked the characters. I liked Jo as a character, she was quite quirky but still interesting.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book and it was a nice, easy summer read. I liked the plot, themes and characters but did think the book was slightly predictable, but, it was still an enjoyable read.

  1. I've read this book too and I would agree that it was simple and predictable, but it's nice to not have to think about it too much for a change isn't it! x
